As we packed up our truck to leave Encinitas, I got a little teary eyed. We weren't moving far - but to leave a place we've called home for so long was a little bit saddening. We thought about all the good times we've had at the beach house; all the fun parties, Lukas's milestones, the parades, beach days, and our every day adventures. We sure will miss living in that part of town. There's not much we'd trade for a beach sunset!
So after we packed up the Uhaul truck with all of our stuff, we took a stroll downtown to enjoy some wine and cheese and one of those beautiful Encinitas sunsets. Goodbye to our beach house, and only a see you soon to Encinitas, but a huge WELCOME HOME for the Millers to their new house in Carlsbad!
